THE SWIGSHIFT AND FRIENDS

When you are wandering with a folk band like The Swigshift for more than 15 years, you meet a lot of soulmates, musicians, dancers, actors, Irishmen and Irishlovers probably all descendants of Ambiorix.
When the subject of conversation of such a meeting is not " The Big War " or " The Irish Matter", one very often talks about folk music. Celts or Celtic Gods, one drinks a beer and ... of course, music is made.
After a short or long chat, you say goodbye and you promise each other that "once you will work out something together". Normally this is nothing more than an intention.
Therefore The Swigshift decided to organize a concert with the friends and a the same time to bring out a double CD. When we asked our friends' cooperation, they enthusiastically agreed. It took some doing, but finally, we are proud to present this album.
