Being Flemish and bringing Celtic music is not chosing the easiest way!
At first sight it is not obvious but ... the Celtic and their culture are related to our history anyway. Evidence can be found in museums, at excavations, at the sites at Kemmel, Velzeke and Tongeren. So it really is a fact that we have Celtic blood running through our veins.
There is no other music than the Celtic that gives us that irresistable urge to create, play and modify music together.
Maybe it was a coincidence which brought Swigshift together but it surely is the passion for Celtic music that made us stick together.
With our second CD we want to take you with us on our quest to the Celtic roots deep in ourselves. And who knows, maybe those big grey rocks start talking, as silent witnesses of a long gone past.
